Description

Tahu Isi, or Stuffed Tofu, is a popular Indonesian street snack made of crispy fried tofu pockets filled with a savory mix of vegetables. The tofu is hollowed out and packed with seasoned shredded carrots, cabbage, and glass noodles, then dipped in light batter and deep-fried until golden and crunchy. Perfect as an appetizer or afternoon snack, this delicious bite offers a satisfying contrast between the crispy outside and flavorful veggie filling inside. Best enjoyed with fresh green chilies or a spicy dipping sauce.
